July 20th...
Our team visited Agururu Special Needs school in the morning.
Love how the students didn't want to focus in class but instead peered out the windows to see who was there.
Models... striking a pose for me. :-)
Nearly 100 of the 200 students who go to school here have special needs.
Deaf students learning in sign language. So important for these kiddos.
Those same students were excited to take selfies with Justin.
The students who stay on property full time gathered in one of the classrooms for us.
There was laughing & singing...
... followed by our team passing out new mosquito nets, tooth brushes & tooth paste.
Bill posing with his sponsored daughter and her sister.
They were sure happy to reunite & spend precious time together.
As you can see the children need new mosquito nets |
I am so happy they will have new mosquito nets to help prevent Malaria.
Each child who stays on property has their own chest for their personal belongings. One young girl showed us her "Dress a Girl" outfit that she received last year. She was very proud to show it to us. :-)
It was wonderful to see this child enjoying clean water from the well that was installed a few years ago.
Water is Life!
We take for granted having fresh clean water to drink..I'm sure you came away with a whole new appreciation for things we have been blessed with!
