Mini Mansion Staycation

While we were unfortunate to have smoke damage in our home, we were fortunate to have our vacation rental (Mini Mansion) to stay in while the remediation company did a complete cleaning with hydroxyl machines. It was a long process. Love these bright yellow tulips Bob brought to the Mini Mansion during our staycation. Flowers bring sunshine to any day... especially yellow ones. :-)

WICKED

I won't pass up an opportunity to see WICKED! It's in my top 3 most favorite musicals.

It was playing for several weeks at ASU Gammage theatre in Tempe, AZ.

Bob, Me, Elphaba, Glinda, Nancy & Curt.

Curt & Nancy have seen Wicked before but this was Joan & Dean's 1st time. It was our 2nd time.
We ALL loved it.  Favorite Song: Defying Gravity. :-)

Bracelet by Hoss

Picked up my new custom bracelet from friend and jewelry artist; Hoss Rogers.

I really love it! "Have Courage & Be Kind" is on the outside (my favorite quote by Cinderella).

It also has HARLEY (for our sweet girl), W4W (for Wheels 4 Water)

and JOBOJA (for Johnson, Bob, Jane). :-)

Harley turns 14!

April 6th... Happy Birthday to Harley. #14

She has a new haircut and is ready for her birthday party. :-)

We gathered a few friends for an afternoon walk in the desert. A favorite activity for Harley!

Afterwards it was coffee, cake & ice cream. Eating is another favorite activity for Harley. ;-)

A new bone, new toys, 2 walks, birthday cake & lots of treats. Harley says it was the best day ever! We are so thankful for our sweet puppy.

I think about and miss my mom many days... but especially on the 1 year anniversary of her passing. It brings me to cry. I don't mind being sad, to me it's important while also being thankful for her full life that touched mine and countless others. You were simply a remarkable woman, mom.
