Meet Sanyo.
He's 10 years old and he wants to be a pilot.
He is one of the students @ City of Joy that needs a sponsor.
On 7/30 Bob and I told Sanyo that we would like to sponsor him in school.
He is such a kind boy!
Happy we could connect with Sanyo & get to know him a little.
We gave Sanyo a new backpack and new shoes (donated from a friend of ours, Mike & his boys in the USA).
We brought some lollipops too... always a hit with the kids. Sanyo took some extra lollipops to give to his siblings at home.
Keep studying hard in school, Sanyo! We look forward to staying in touch through letters. We'll also like hearing about your studies from Todd & Andrea. We pray that your dreams come true! It sure would be amazing to see you as a pilot for Rwanda Air one day. God's blessings to you, your family & City of Joy!
Pray that his dreams of being a pilot come true...I'm sure he enjoyed talking to Bob about be a pilot!
ReplyDeleteIt sure was fun to see what all the kids would like to be when they grow up. Only a few had pilot picked out as their profession. So of course Sanyo was special to Bob & I because of that! :-)
