Uganda (Good-bye Uganda)

While the Mud Hut was getting some final touches on July 25, other team members were purchasing a new mattress & delivering it for an elderly widow. There was also an all day medical outreach in another village orchestrated by our 3 USA doctors & support team. Our medical team was incredible the whole trip; seeing 150-200 patients on the days they set up medical tents. What a blessing to have them available for Uganda women, men & children who needed medical attention.
Today was our last day in Tororo, Uganda so we had a going away party at our hotel in the evening.
It was a time to enjoy food, each other and recognize the amazing local staff as well as our traveling team of 25. I can't find our USA group photo or I'd post it. :-/
It was the best 8 FULL days of outreach!
Seeing classrooms set up with care for eager children to learn.
Playing with little ones who melt your heart.
Blessing others which in turn blessed us.
Visiting the new born and the sick in hospitals.
Feeding the hungry. Wow... love these kiddos from Smile Africa.
Grateful for Pastor Ruth, Feed my Starving Children & Hope 4 Kids International that partners together to serve hundreds in this place.
Connecting & making a difference.
April is now sponsoring this young man in addition to Sam!
Taking a double take at what you see out the window.
And then you smile and say... This is Africa!
Gonna miss beautiful, Judith; head director in Uganda. What a bright shining star she is!
Thanks to Tom, Judith, Angie, Rachel, Carmela & countless others Hope 4 Kids International is the outstanding organization it is. I will be back to experience Uganda again with them and I'll bring Bob next time. And maybe you too?! Check out their website and consider a mission trip with them...

Good-bye Uganda.

With Love & Giggles. :-)
