Team Polopole. Having fun but missing David of course! PS: We had gotten word through our guide Raymond that David had made it back to the hotel and was doing very well.

The clouds were spectacular & the weather was the best we've had so far.
First day without any rain!

Just have to go down & then back up that trail.

A victorious day! I really enjoyed Day 5.
Camp #5 above the clouds.
Goodnight Kilimanjaro. Tomorrow morning we'll hike to High Camp at 15,500ft. And tomorrow night we'll begin our final trek (starting at 11:00pm) to reach the summit by sunrise the next day (10/29). We all went to bed so excited. The roof of Africa is just 24 hours away!
I'm sure this was a day filled with challenges...you are realizing your dream!
