11/1: Day 2 in the Serengeti...
More giraffes!!!!!
Lanky legs & slow motion running. Video of a girrafe galloping in later posts.
More zebras!
More cheetahs!
More wildebeest!
Hundreds...no thousands of wildebeest!
Massive herds running and running and running.
New today...HIPPOS!
Hippos are funny & lazy. They spend most of their day in the water and graze at night.
We saw cape Buffalo too. They are BIG!
We had a lovely picnic lunch where some Massai Tribe members were selling some jewelry. I bought a couple pretty bracelets.
After lunch it was back on the dirt road in search of more animals!
This was a great watering hole where zebras & wildebeest were drinking.
I need to frame some of these safari photos! :-)
So neat to observe!
These vultures hanging out were pretty cool too. Waiting to feed on a wildebeest caracas.
This looks so Africa. LOVE AFRICA!
My honey!
Me....with no altitude sickness. LOL.
Spying a LION!
Nguvu kama Simba
means: Strong like lion

Bob's favorite Swahili phrase. :-)
