Stopping in the Dylan Hotel to cozy up by the fire for a coffee & hot chocolate. Fall is beautiful in Amsterdam but it's cold too. This place was the perfect hangout to warm up!
Anne Frank Memorial.
Anne Frank hiding place; in the annex of this building. :-(
Bob & I toured Anne Frank's home this morning. It overwhelms. Difficult to imagine their 2 years of hiding, enormous fear & then being found and taken to a concentration camp where they (like too many others) suffered and died. Anne's father, Otto survived and published Anne's diary.
Later in the day we found a couple bar dogs. :-) Check out these cute pups @ a local pub.
Bob tried a another local drink & I had coffee as we enjoyed people watching.

We just watched a documentary on Anne Frank after she was placed in the concentration camp...it was sooo sad...I'm sure seeing where she hid was powerful!
