Besides celebrating Harley's birthday yesterday...the 4 of us got out & about.

First a morning selfie stick photo & we were on our way to tour Phoenix.

Of course I'm thrilled when we spot a blooming cactus! So many gorgeous orange flowers on this Prickly Pear!

We visited the MIM (Musical Instrument Museum) in Scottsdale. 

It is a huge museum that covers all regions of the world. Early instruments were displayed as were videos showing how they were made & locals playing them. The region's dances & costumes were shown too. It was especially neat to see regions we've been to like China, Dominican Republic, Hawaii or Australia (above).

 Africa...maybe we'll get to this region one day!

Even though I'm no expert pianist...I loved seeing the Steinway & Sons pianos. Walking around the museum made me wish I had learned to play guitar. I guess it's never too late (or is it?).

Back outside...a LOT more happy Prickly Pear. WOW!

I take a lot of flower photos! I can't help it.

PS: Our hot tub arrived today! It wasn't easy to move but we did get it in the backyard. A few things need to get in place & then we'll be able to fill it up, hook it up, & soak it up. :-)
