A few more pics from yesterday's hiking (4/19)…
It was a little too narrow for my comfort so I used the chain railing when it was provided!
See it bolted to the rock on the left?
Hidden Canyon took us to a natural arch & some pretty green trees.
Echo Canyon was another area we walked through. Dramatic high walls.
It's fun to hike when the sun is out, the temps are great, the hikers are few & our feet are happy! Miles & miles with no blisters thanks to our favorite shoes: Hokas!
Our afternoon stop was at Zion Lodge for a cold Coca-Cola which was thoroughly enjoyed under a shade tree on the lodge's front lawn. Our legs were happy to rest too. :-)
PS: We're staying at Pioneer Lodge in Springdale (right outside the park entrance). It's a cute mountain town with a great vibe. Last night's dinner was at The Spotted Dog…delicious!
WOW...this is beautiful...I agree that drop off would not be to my liking...such beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! It was a super week of hiking!
