After Angel's Landing (4/20) we headed up & up some more to reach the West Rim (that's the rim in the distance ).

At first we had some views of the Virgin River & The Big Bend (where the Virgin River bends around Organ Rock).

There were interesting changes in rock the higher we hiked. If I could remember facts I could tell you the name of each colored layer. :-/

After some steep climbs & many switchbacks we made it to the top!

Expansive views & so very beautiful.

Each time we reach the top of a climb we find a good spot to sit, take out our lunch & enjoy our snacks while we take in the view. Today's cafe did not disappoint! 

Back down we went…walk'n & talk'n all the way to the Virgin River.

We grabbed the 1st shuttle to our car & drove to Oscars (recommended Mexican restaurant in Springdale). The nachos, tacos & beer didn't disappoint either!
