OREO Cookie Cows!
Have you ever seen a cow like this?
Each cow was perfectly divided into 2 black halves with a white fluffy middle.
We pulled over to walk closer to these bovine.
Next to the cattle were railroad tracks lined with bright orange rock. We've been seeing these colorful rocks with orange lichen in places across the west coast. The orange was a nice compliment to the green grass, yellow bushes & black & white cows.
It was also nice to stretch our legs a bit since today (11/13) was a long day in the car (10 hours). We started our morning in Franz Joseph & ended the night in Lake Takapo.
If Stephanie or Karlie saw these cows they would want one...really unusual...love the orange rocks too!
