Me: This morning Bob, Sue, Wendy & I toured Box Canyon Falls.
Box Canyon Falls is the area where the hot springs surface. This HOT water is piped to heat the pools in Ouray that so many people enjoy. It was very interesting!
Sitting in a tunnel near the falls. Just imagine the guys using pick axes to make this passage way!
After lunch Sue & Wendy hit the road to drive back to Phoenix. Elisabeth went for a lake swim while Kirk, Bob & I walked around Ouray.
It was a great afternoon to grab a drink at the local brewery too!
Tonight we enjoyed this view & dinner at Elisabeth & Kirk's.
Thanks to K & E for a wonderful weekend. They are great folks & live life to the fullest!
This area of CO. is so interesting....we loved touring there!
