Martin: Adrian ready to head off to the airport on his first solo overseas trip – back to Spain for five weeks. Our winter to the middle of their summer.

I don't have any photos from this morning's 1/2 marathon but Kirk, Elisabeth, Wendy & I raced it (Sue went biking). It was a great event with 700 participants. The 13.1 mile course went from Ouray to Ridgeway. Wendy placed 3rd in her age group (with a time of 1:54)! Congrats Wendy!! Elisabeth was 4th in her age group with a time of 1:46 (not positive on her time)! And Kirk, doing his 1st half marathon, had an awesome time of 1:39 (might be off a bit on his time). I struggled but finished! (my time was 2hrs). I think I should have gone biking with Sue! :-) Awesome job runners!!
I didn't take any photos at the party :-( but there was a great turnout of friends from Ouray, Ridgeway & Telluride. Kirk & Bob grilled up some delicious brats, hamburgers, chicken & salmon! This is the front of Kirk & Elisabeth's home.
Yep, Bob was here for the BBQ! I picked him up in Montrose at noon. He's here for the remainder of our Colorado trip! BTW: Aamazing views of mountains & Ouray from one of their decks!
On our way back to Ouray from the airport I couldn't pass up stopping at some Ridgway antique stores. Window sign says, "STUFF for sale HERE". I love stuff! We also walked around the Ridgway Arts Festival in the park. It was a fun day topped off with relaxing at the famous Ouray Hot Springs!!
Another great day in Ouray....love your friend's house!
