Me: Wahoo! Give me TEN…California Chrome won!
If you don't know, California Chrome is the winner of the Kentucky Derby today! Since I'm into watching a lot of TV these days I really got into the race and many of the horses back grounds. California Chrome came from modest beginnings with two unlikely Kentucky Derby owners and a 77 year old trainer. But California Chrome has risen to become a champ. I was rooting for him the whole way - I only wish I had placed my bet beforehand. :-) California Chrome's win this afternoon will make for a good movie one day.
I really love this picture....two of your favorite people....didn't watch the Derby....busy watching FB to see if they found Aspen....don't know if you saw my posts...sad story!

ReplyDeleteThey found Aspen today down stream from where the accident was. Two men fishing found him. At least his last day was filled with love and happiness!
