Martin: Yesterday's clear sky is gone. Clouds today.
Me: After our Antelope Canyon tour on Friday we drove a couple miles to take a look at Horseshoe Bend. We had never been but heard it was a must see. The walk to the look out point is 3/4 of a mile and pretty flat. This photo shows people ahead of us walking down to peer over the edge.
Here's the view from the edge! Breathtaking! This is the Colorado River just a few miles south of Glen Canyon Dam (that creates Lake Powell) taking an interesting horseshoe turn around a giant rock peninsula. This is also the start of the Grand Canyon (near mile 0) with gorgeous views of the North Rim. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long.
We stood on the edge.
But not too close. Promise!
Took a selfie.
 and another selfie.
