September (Pat & Bob visit)

Pat & Bob visit!! We are always happy when Bob's parents are able to jump on a plane to visit us in Arizona. We had a lot of stories to share about our travels around the world! ;-) We also enjoyed dinner in Scottsdale with Pennsylvania relatives; Emmy & Matt. They are lovely newlyweds and new to living in Phoenix. Welcome to AZ... we hope you like the desert as much as we do!
We do a pretty good job of playing games around our house.
Bob and Bob in a heated ping pong match. Hahaha!

This visit was extra special because Pat brought a suitcase FULL of adorable dresses ALL sewn by herself & some friends. These dresses will be donated to Hope 4 Kids International for their DRESS A GIRL program. April and I were able to dress some of these beautiful young Rwanda girls when were were in Africa. It was a touching experience to bring smiles to their faces when they received their new outfit. Sooooo amazing!!
Thank you Pat... not just from me but from everyone from Hope 4 Kids. This is Pat & I at H4KI office in Glendale, Arizona. How fun to deliver these adorable dresses in person. Carmella (left) was on my trip to Uganda in July.

So much love and light is brought to these children through the Dress A Girl program. These photos help me remember how special these kids are and how wonderful this day was for everyone. Thank you thank you, Pat... for using your talents to bring more happiness to children around the world.

PS: Pat & Bob returned home to California and I get updates from Pat from her P&L dress shop. :-) She & friends are still having fun sewing. I believe they have sewn 50 more dresses.
WOW!!! LOVE IT!
