Singapore (Bay of Gardens)

Bird's eye view of The Bay of Gardens.
PS: This was the view from our room at the Marina Bay Sands hotel (37th floor). More on our 1 night stay at Singapore's amazing hotel later but this post is about touring Singapore's beautiful botanical gardens...
A view from the ground. Giant iron trees placed throughout the gardens. They light up at night, change color and have vines growing up the base. Mariana Bay Sands hotel in the distance. :-)

Outside walking around the gardens. Inside walking around the orchid greenhouse.

Singapore's National Flower is the orchid. I don't recall how many different kinds of orchids there are but 1000's +++. Actually I just read on-line "There are 27,000 different species. Orchids are the most numerous family of plants on earth."

These orchids are ALL soooo BEAUTIFUL!
We found the South African section!
Johnson getting a kick out of the little school kids field trip.
The next building contained a giant indoor waterfall! Johnson being family photographer. :-)

Venice Fly Trap! I didn't know they were so small. Interesting.

Spectacularly designed greenhouse.
Such a cool place & fun day!
1st time to a McDonalds!

And walking to our hotel... EXCITED!!
Inside our room was a towel ELEPHANT. How perfect for us!!
We changed into our swimming suits, took the elevator to the 57th floor and enjoyed hanging out at this crazy & very famous pool!
Awwww! We love this hotel already.
Marina Bay Sands delivered a birthday cake to help celebrate the August birthdays in the family.
Thank you, Singapore!!! You know I will have more photos on the largest infinity pool in the world! Tomorrow. :-)
