Snake Park
Arusha, Tanzania
August 4, 2018
Bob and I sponsored 17 kids plus Filbert & Shamsi (directors) for an afternoon at the Snake Park.
Many of the kids had enough bravery to hold a snake wrapped around their neck!!!
And they convinced me to hold it too!
I do NOT like snakes (but they said this one was nice).
Cheeeeeeese!
Enjoying our lunch at the park.
Looking at crocodiles & holding turtles.
Hand holding & hugs all day long. Love the sweetness of these kids.
Behind the glass; Python, Green Mamba, Cobra, Black Mamba (the most deadly snakes in the world)
YOGA break.
Warrior 2 Pose.
Arm wrestling... kids loved this.
Singing... my favorite.
We bought some new purses for the older girls.
Then loaded up the bus for our return to House of Children.
Today created some special memories for us and all the kids.
I am sure this is a day both the children and you and Bob will remember forever..I'm sure the girls loved their purses (what girls don't)!
ReplyDeleteHahaha... and they were really cute purses made by the Masai Tribe women.
