Water camera photos!
I bought a disposable water camera for this trip. I didn't use it much. And since it was a film camera I had to send it out to get developed. Today I got the pics back & there were many blurry & bad pics...BUT there were a few decent ones! Above pic: exploring downstream from Mooney Falls.
Joan swimming in the flowing stream. All of us got in on this: float, swim & repeat!
We found gorgeous hidden falls.
And took exhilarating showers under them!
Every moment was a blast but a hysterical highlight was enjoying this mud bath! It was exfoliating and therapeutic. Honestly my face & skin was softer after the mud scrub! Just think how much this treatment would cost in Beverly Hills!! :-)
Inside a living & lush waterfall cave. Stalactites & ferns growing all over.
These last 2 pics are from New Navajo Falls (our 1st day). All others pics are from Havasu Creek below Mooney Falls. All of it...AMAZING!
Was the water cold??? I bet the mud bath was enjoyable...you could start a business in Phoenix giving mud baths...lol!
ReplyDeleteThe water was cold but not too cold to stay in and enjoy. I think the cold helped our legs recover from the miles of hiking! Maybe I could bottle the mud and sell it. "Mooney Mud" or "Waterfall Facial Scrub"
