Our home for the night...tomorrow we hike!
Bob & I drove from Aspen to Buena Vista today (1.5 hours over Independence Pass). We are camping at a KOA. We've never stayed at a KOA before & it's really nice...laundry, showers, a store & even ping pong! In the morning we'll meet some friends at the trailhead to hike Mt. Yale (our 1st 14er of this year).
Across from our campsite was this cool TeePee. KOA rents it out for $55 a night & it has a queen bed, bunk beds & electricity. Next time we are staying there!!
That would not be bad sleeping in a queen size bed...this I could do!
