Back at the ranch we hung out with this cool crew. Night 2 in the Serengeti.
Jacob was really fun to talk with. He wants to be a Safari guide one day & we sure hope that happens for him. He is knowledgable, personable & all around good guy. Thanks, Jacob for your hospitality!
The morning of Day 3 we drove out of the Serengeti and headed to Ngorongoro Crater. About a 2 hour drive.
I think this is a funny video on our drive out of the Serengeti. Emanuel passing another safari jeep on this long dirt road. Emanuel was a great driver and a funny guy too. Loved talking with him each day about African animals, his family (he is married & has a 2 year old little girl) & life in Tanzania.
You really got to know the people of Africa.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly we did. When planning to hike Kilimanjaro I thought it would be all about the climb. However...it was the people...new friends & relationships that are having the largest impact on Bob and I.
