Mt. Princeton
14,197 ft.
August 5, 2017
I am soooo proud of this crew!
We called ourselves "The Seven Wonders"! :-)
Everyone made the summit.
It was Shelly, Scott, Kata & Robyn's FIRST 14er! Congratulations!!
It was Dana's 5th 14er, Bob's 18th & my 27th.
A toast at the top for these buddies.
And a little time to relax & take in the view.
We hiked 8 miles with 3,200 feet of climbing. Much of the trail (or lack of trail) was on this rocky terrain. Challenging! Above pic shows us coming down from the summit. Steep!
This is coming UP the last stretch before the top. Can you see the LONG trail to the left of Dana? I love this photo!
Here's some of our crew hiking further down the trail.
Mt. Princeton is the high peak in the distance.
The trail wasn't all rocky. :-) There was some green grass too (just not as much as many of the other 14ers we've hiked).
Wahoo...what a great day!!
Come back tomorrow to see more pics from Mt. Princeton.

  1. In some of these pics it looks like you are on the top of the world..I bet the rocks made your climb difficult.

  2. We were very glad to step off onto the grassy trail when we reached it on the way down.
