Today's ride with Julie...my new Tahoe friend. She moved here a week ago from PHOENIX! I didn't know her from AZ but we have a couple mutual friends from Ahwatukee. She lives fairly close to our cabin, got a job at a local bike shop & she likes to bike. Wahoo!
We rode 20 miles with 2200 feet of climbing along with some rocky downhill.
We crossed peaceful streams.
We pedaled through pretty meadows.
This meadow is appropriately named Big Meadow. :-)
My favorite part...the wild flowers!
It really is a small world...that's great that you have a new friend to ride with...meaning to ask...could you and Bob move to Tahoe full time???
ReplyDeleteWe really love Tahoe & have discussed it before. We always come up with the same conclusion...winters would be tough for us. Bob is a great skier, I am an average skier but we both prefer summer activities over winter activities. For now living in Phoenix in the Fall, Winter, Spring is great & getting away to Tahoe & Colorado in the summer is ideal.
