Today was a swim & yoga morning followed by errands & laundry. No new photos so I'm posting extras pics from my memorable 4th of July snow ski outing...
Bob & I do plenty of fun things together but I still wish he could have joined this adventure. I texted him from the ski mountain all day to share the experience.
1st there were tons of people! Check out the lines above & below...
Even so...Squaw Valley managed the crowds well & all the skiers were happy as could be.
How could you not be smiling when you're skiing on the 4th of July under blue skies & WARM temps.
In fact I got sunburned despite applying sunscreen. :-/
Today's outfit consisted of two American flags bought at CVS. They fit nicely in my backpack. :-)
I had the stars headband already & found the striped bikini top at Goodwill for $1.99 the night before.
Patriotic is the new black...everyone was wearing it!
And I was not the only one in a bikini top. There were many!
When the ski lifts closed at 2pm everyone headed for the High Camp pool party. Folks put up their ski gear & joined the festivities; water, sunning, music, games, & drinks.
I didn't pay to enter the pool but enjoyed the deck with the amazing 360 degree view. Gorgeous Day! I hung out for a little while & then made it back to the cabin (& Harley) before dealing with any crazy traffic.
An awesome 4th of July!
I loved your 4th of July outfit...also liked that you were frugal in the amount of money you spent on your outfit...it will be a 4th you will always remember!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! A different 4th of July then the typical picnic in the park, small town parade, boating or beach.
