Me: A little taste of our Easter.
It started with a sunrise bike ride with Bob. It was a nice crisp morning & so pretty out! Then I dropped Bob & Kathy off at the airport. Rod is staying in AZ a little longer so he & I drove to HOPE church for Easter service. "He is Risen!"
After service it was over to Carol & Paul's for Easter dinner. Abbie, April & I showing off our creations (this gives me flashbacks to 4-H). :-) Abbie with her fruit tray, April with her deviled eggs & me with my spinach salad. I give us all blue ribbons!! Add this to all the other delicious food everyone brought & we had a yummy feast!

After dinner & dessert we held a double elimination ping pong tourney. 12 entries but only 1 winner. I'm taking home the 2015 Easter Ping Pong trophy. Woo Hoo!
(Ok, everyone's a winner but I still get the trophy).
Thanks so much for hosting, Carol & thanks to everyone for the food & fun. I just wish Bob could have joined us for service + dinner. Happy Easter all!
Sounds like you a had a full and fun day....Charlie will challenge you to a ping-pong tournament....he was the base champ when he was in the Air Force....we have another thing in common...4-H....I was a member for 5 years....how long for you???
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how many years I was in 4-H but a few (funny how I didn't really learn anything - haha). I know I showed calves a couple times and was Miss Junior 4-H of Audubon county one year. :-) I will take that challenge from Charlie…we'll get a ping pong table at our house soon (I hope) and we can play on your next visit!
