Awards were given out last Saturday after the final (#6) race in Flagstaff. Since Simona & I had to leave early the MBAA was kind enough to give us our awards early. Thanks to this great local organization for putting on fun events in our state of Arizona!

Side note: My 5 race finishes also placed me 2nd amongst all Cat 1 / Expert age categories for the season! I worked hard this year... racing more than I have in years and trying my best to compete with those fast youngsters. I learned something from each race to improve on. I always wish I could be better on this or that but my overall feeling is thankfulness that I am capable and able to do this. Challenging myself to get stronger is satisfying. I met new friends during the season & enjoyed hanging out with old friends too... all fierce and fun competitors with super sportsmanship. Proud of Bob for his races this season. He had a great time and did awesome!
