March 14th: Today was a rest day in Tafe', Argentina so I rode a horse!
Kathryn rode a horse too (no one else was game).
This was my horse. I called her Penelope ('cause I couldn't remember her name).
There was green grass on the ground.
Thick fog in the air.
It was a really fun experience to be riding these sweet animals in Argentina.
We even took part in a little farm action by rounding up the milk cows.
These cows are part of a big cheese farm operation.
In fact everyone in our group came to the farm to have cheese & wine. Kathryn & I joined them. I love cheese and I love wine and I love a farm!
The ending to a perfect day! :-)
Didn't know you were a ranch hand...you look good on that horse!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Haven't ridden much as an adult but we had a couple farm horses growing up. It was fun to ride in Argentina!
