Me: This morning Bob, Harley & I did a nice 3 mile hike on the Van Sickle Trail.
No one but us on the trail. Ahhh. :-)
We were excited to see a few Sugar Pine Trees. They are getting sparse. They used to cover about 50% of the Tahoe area forests. They are now down to 5%. :-( They produce the largest pine cones which are so cool.

After our hike I ran 3 miles & swam laps at the Tahoe Rec Center. Then Bob, Harley & I hung out at Zephyr Cove beach. Heading now (6pm) to pick up my niece, April & her boyfriend, Lorin. They are staying with us for a week! Excited to play with them in Tahoe!

  2. Bob is getting a little better each day. He is still having shoulder and chest pain but thankful for the improvements. And thankful he can do hiking and time at the beach!! :-) I am behind on posting. We have had some packed days!
