Martin: Still painting at the house with two dogs. This is what they did to one of the lounge pillows while I was doing the ceiling in a bedroom. 

Me: Long over due visit with my BFF, Shelly. Fun that we got to catch up over a 3 hour hike in Strawberry, AZ (plus the 4 hrs in the car). Shelly is Activities Coordinator for a health club in Scottsdale and I've known her for 20 years. Despite living in the same city we don't get together often enough. She needed to pre-hike Fossil Springs trail for next week's club trip she's leading - so I went along!

At the bottom of the trail we were rewarded with beautiful water falls! It's a great spot for lunch, swimming and apparently yoga. :-) Trying my best to look like a yogi (not so good). I can't get my leg up any higher so I better keep attending my hot yoga classes!

The water looked so refreshing - I just had to get in.

While I was having a good time with Shelly… Bob was hanging out with this guy, Turtle.

Bob & friends were biking when they had the rare sighting of a desert tortoise! So jealous (I've seen one only once). Bob & friends helped encourage Turtle to cross the road.

So…Why did the turtle cross the road?

To get to the Shell Station!
