Pat made delicious split pea soup for lunch. Even with the cold breeze we enjoyed eating outside.
It was project day! Pat and I organized the pantry. I think we discovered 6 bags of flour and 3 canisters of sugar (not kidding). Luckily Pat used up a bunch baking cookies. Then a trip to Home Depot for Fig Tree "tent" supplies and 2 rose bushes to plant. Now we're laying on the couch in a sugar coma from all the cookies we ate. :-)
Thanks Pat and Bob for all the fun and help today!

Love this....you are so creative!!! What is a fig tree tent....just what it sounds like a tent to cover a fig tree??? Seems strange that you are going to plant rose bushes when it is snowing here....I would rather be planting a rose bush!
ReplyDeleteIt is chilly here but not near as cold as other parts of the country! How cold is it in your area? The fig tree tent is to keep the birds from eating our figs. Bob Sr. figured out a structure that will have a net around the tree and still give us access to the figs. Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt has been in the 30's!
ReplyDeleteYour new kitchen looks awesome. You guys did a great job on the design!
