Martin: Just another flower out in our garden. Had to play with the settings on this one due to the high contrast.
Me: The start of our hike this morning in north Scottsdale. Eight of us drove there to hike Tom's Thumb trail. I like this lone cactus.
We came across a snake! It was red and in a tree! Yikes!! Looked it up later and found out it's a coachwhip snake.
This is our group pushing to the top!
Us with Tom's Thumb behind us.
Harley did great today (even though she looked the wrong way for the photo).
Looking back from Tom's Thumb.
Bob always finds the most precarious spot for a picture.

It was a nice morning with our friends! This was our first time hiking to Tom's Thumb (6.3 miles round trip) and it was a great trek with large boulders and scenic views!
