We arrived at the Barn Burner venue around noon today. This meadow was filled with RV's, tents and the 1100 racers along with their families and friends. We set up camp, registered for the event, ate spaghetti dinner and hit the hay early. We start our 104 mile race tomorrow morning at 7am!
This is the barn we'll run our bike through after each lap. Teams tag off here and solo riders grab food and drink before heading out for the next 2 hour lap.
In front of our camper with a couple friends, Michael and Jason. We have a good showing from our team; around 25 Vitesse members participating in the Barn Burner this year.
Jane - Thanks for sharing pics, but instead of calling it Barn Burner I think it should be Jane Burner! You rock!!!
ReplyDeletehee. :-) Thanks, Karen. Our house has exploded with dirty clothes, coolers and bike gear. Going to be busy cleaning up for a few days. Will post the rest of the weekend pics tomorrow.
