California Christmas pics...
Rose & Marie gave us a recital on their guitar & keyboard. They recently started weekly lessons and already sound great! We also love hearing them sing together. Talented & beautiful nieces!
Let's play Mind Trap! Honestly this game was hard on my brain (LOL). Luckily I had smarties all around me. This was a good time after eating a delicious Christmas dinner at Chef Chuy's restaurant. It's a famous local place that's been around for years. Supper was delicious!! Thank you Pat & Bob for taking us out & for a wonderful Christmas gathering at home.
There were Christmas presents too. :-) Thank you Pat & Bob for this Pendleton wool blanket. It was an amazing surprise because this design was done by my nephew-in-law, Andrew (Janna's husband). A few years ago he painted this piece honoring the buffalo & Native Americans. His art was chosen by Pendleton to be one of their designs that year for a wool blanket. Thank you again, Pat & Bob for finding this along your travels. It's a very special gift!
Marie & Rose reading Penelope. The book was their Christmas gift from Bob & I. :-)
Maybe R & M will write & illustrate a book. They are great readers & they love to draw. Hmmmm!?
When we weren't Christmas-ing...Bob & Bob welded.
Bob & Bob took Tippy for walks.
Bob & Bob worked on puzzles. Pat did too but here she's discussing the puzzle flaw with Mary-Mia via the phone. :-) Pat & I also did a little shopping downtown Los Altos Hills (a favorite thing of mine). We also drove to Half Moon Bay on January 4th (those pics posted next). Thank you Pat & Bob for the other thoughtful gifts given to us. And thank you Mary-Mia & Rod...I can't wait to use the Shutterfly gift card to make a photo book.
What a thoughtful and wonderful gift you received from Bob and Pat...the girls are really growing up...I'm sure you enjoyed their recital!
ReplyDeleteYes...we did enjoy their recital. I love music & always wished I had learned the guitar. Also wished I had a good singing voice.
ReplyDeleteIt was a wonderful time with the Meneely family!
