Martin: Moonrise in Bendigo

Me: After we left Tim's condo in Mission Beach, Bob and I drove to La Jolla.

Found a great spot to wade in the water...

and play.

Then we walked to the area where all the harbour seals and pelicans hang out. See them on the beach taking naps in the sun. The pelicans are on the lone rock.

Not a care in the world.

    Just around the corner from the seals were the sea lions and some kind of black bird. The sea lions were much more playful with one another while the birds stood statuesque and never moved. It was such a gorgeous day!

Walked around the shops in LaJolla, had brunch at a quaint cafe overlooking the water and stopped in the chocolate store for "something" before driving back to Phoenix.

Thankful for the GREAT vacation in San Diego!
