Martin: Back home and another storm front.
Me: Merry Christmas!
Last night's Christmas Eve dinner & celebration at my sister's home. 1st was 6pm candlelight service followed by a Danish tradition of eating Aebleskiver. Thanks to Paul's mom for making the Aebleskiver...Yummy! We played Charades (inspired after playing at our CA Christmas last week). It was a lovely time though we all missed Bob! Merry Christmas…hope your holiday has been filled with peace, love & joy!
It's wonderful that you could spend time with your family...what is Aebleskiver? I'm sure you missed Bob...when does he get home???
ReplyDeleteMartin - Big storm coming in!
Aebleskiver is like a round ball pancake. It takes a special pan to bake make them. They are yummy (better than pancakes in my opinion). :-) But they also take patience to make as you rotate them to make into a tiny tennis sized ball. Still fun! We use a variety of toppings; syrup, jelly, sugar, powdered sugar, honey butter and just plain butter. We will make them when you come to AZ!
ReplyDeleteSounds really good!!!
