Martin: We all went for a short walk through the National Park starting here at Helensburgh Railway Station.
Me: Took a photo of our friend's backyard today - don't tell :-). Their home is gorgeous, amazing really. They are moving to another home though, just around the corner from this one. It too is spectacular.

Martin: Mother's Day present for Ruth. Left it up to the boys to do the wrapping and they dug out some Christmas paper!!
Me: Frisbee Dog

If I could have taken a good action shot of Harley catching her frisbee I would have posted that. Instead you get a pic of Harley after she was a bit tired from her frisbee workout.

Martin: Another visit from a King Parrot out in the front garden.
Me: For three weeks we've been eating cupcakes, Danish wedding cake, mom's rice krispie bars, chocolate Easter eggs, malted milk balls, jelly beans, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Zoyo yogurt, See's chocolate, candy coated berries, Fannie May fruit & nut eggs, Easter peeps, Cathy's Rum Cake, ice cream, drumsticks, ice cream sandwiches, powdered donuts, and Lindor's chocolates. The photo above shows what still remains in our house. We can't take it anymore so tonight it's going in the trash!

Tonight we had some friends over to our vacation rental home for appetizers, drinks, and birthday cake. Lovely evening. Everyone had fun.

Me: Busy day & I didn't snap a photo - but did run across this pic taking a week ago at Janna & Andrew's wedding. My grand-nieces! Elsie, Alice, Clara and Brielle. How adorable are they?!?!?

Me: Wendy and I went to the Oasis Water Park at the Arizona Grand Resort this afternoon. The best part was how empty the place was (big contrast to Easter weekend). We waded in the wave pool, floated in tubes around the lazy river and kicked back in our lounge chairs. Felt like a mini vacation. Very nice!

Me: Happy May Day!

Mom and I used to make May Baskets when I was a kid. We'd decorate milk cartons, fill them with caramel corn, candy and flowers (lilacs) and then deliver them to our neighbors, friends and family. Proper delivery is to drop them at the front door, ring the doorbell and then run away before they see who it's from. This tradition might be a midwest thing 'cause Bob hadn't heard of it and neither had Martin. So, I made a May Basket today (Bob and Harley helped).  Happy May Day!
