I had to bring in the expert to untangle my jewelry! It was not an easy job, but Pat did it. Mission accomplished including shining up several tarnished sterling silver pieces. Much appreciation to my awesome mother-in-law!

I took advantage of the great weather & signed up for the Cactus Cup short track competition this afternoon.

 It was a 3 loop fast race that I managed to win. That put me in 1st place for the 40 + category. This is day 1 of a 3 day stage race.

Fun that Bob, Pat & Bob were able to come out and cheer for me and several friends who participated.

I'll be coming out again tomorrow to race the 40 miler event. Bob will be my support crew for that race while Pat & Bob will be flying back to The Bay. Thanks for visiting us, Pat & Bob... always a special time!

Look who came to visit us for 3 days!

Pat & Bob arrived yesterday and today we took in a Spring Training game.

The Los Angeles Angels vs. Oakland A's. 

It was such a fun outing!! We had great seats behind home plate and we each had a hotdog (of course). :-) Pat won a milkshake for predicting the winning team closest to her guessed score. Congrats to Pat and The A's who won. Pretty sure Bob & I need to take in another Spring Training game before March is over. Good times.

Ellie's dad, Mike was having a minor knee surgery today. So Ellie's mom, Abbie was with her hubby for the procedure. Surgery went well & Mike should have a pretty quick recovery. We were happy to have Ellie over to hang out. She is easy peasy & such a sweetie!

I'm not a Starbucks fan but when you get a gift card from a friend... well, you don't let a latte go to waste. Plus coffee time with Harley Girl is always nice.

Mountain biking in Sedona!

Bob was off on a work trip so James & I drove to Sedona. We wanted to take in 1 day of biking at the Sedona weekend bike festival. The expo there offered bike demos from various bike companies. I wanted to test ride a couple full suspension bikes.

It was a successful day! I loved riding the Trek EX Fuel 9.9. Really cushy with a dropper seat making it easier for me to go down some steeper rocks. I would most likely be interested in the Trek Top Fuel  9.9 for a future purchase. Bikes are fun! :-)
