Whale watching on our last day in Rocky Point (2/5).

The morning started out with a thick eery fog.

It made for some cool photos in the harbor.

It was the perfect spot for sunset...

and margaritas.

Up high on the hill we had a bird's eye view of downtown Rocky Point. It's grown a LOT since we were here 10 years ago & couldn't believe the line of TALL condos & resorts along Sandy Beach. So much change!

While on the patio we had a close encounter with this motorized glider. Catch him, Bob!

Looks fun but not for me.

After dinner Nate & Lea took us to their favorite place for music & dancing. Tekila Bar had a really good band. We had a blast dancing to their 70's & 80's tunes!

Another day on the beach! Morning yoga.

Rough life.

The lounging part was after our morning kayak.

Frisbee is essential to beach time. Check out Chico the dog. He literally flips trying to intercept the frisbee (every time). :-)

Super Bowl weekend is the best time to visit here...

Back to the house to get ready for a night out in Rocky Point!

Good morning, Mexico!

A whole day on the beach & we had the place to ourselves.

We played bags.

We went for a peaceful walk.

We kayaked.

We made sand angels...of course. :-)

We napped.

Played Password.

Took a joy ride on the quad to eat tacos.

It was basically a really great day on the beach.

Just ask Harley! :-)

And ask Chico & Ginger; Lea & Nate's doggies.

We drove to Rocky Point, Mexico today in time for sunset. Harley didn't want to be left in AZ so she came along for her 1st visit to another country.

Looking forward to 3 days on the beach.

Thanks to Nate & Lea for inviting us to stay with them at their vacation home in Mexico.

Nathan has been a friend for over 20 years since the days of volleyball at the Pointe South Mountain resort. He & Lea have been dating for a couple years and they love escaping to the beach often. Lea owns a scuba diving company in Rocky Point where she instructs & organizes ocean adventures.

1 month into the new year & I've been sticking to many of my resolutions (though not 100% perfect).

One goal was to keep simplifying and get rid of excess. Here's the closet trick I'm using: Turn all your hangers backwards. When you where a shirt & hang it back up put it in the correct way. If after a year there are still backwards hangers get rid of that garment. :-)

2017 Chocolate update: I have had NO chocolate this year. I kinda miss my chocolate (especially See's) but I no longer have the crazy cravings for it which is nice.

 What do I do when I feel blue?

I paint a wall blue of course!

My sore throat has turned into a sinus infection (I think). If it keeps getting worse I'll be driving to the local minute clinic. In the meantime I'm making a bold paint choice in decorating. Wallpaper may just be added to the cream walls soon. This bathroom could get crazy! Do you think I'm running a fever? ;-)
