The 4 of us had a blast!

The ride included a little bit of pavement....

a lot of dirt canal paths....

and a good bit of single track trail.

I haven't raced in quite some time but sure had fun at the MBAA race this morning! It was the McDowell Mountain Meltdown and I managed to win my category! Expert division age 45+. I heard there were 900 racers competing today in various categories & distance. Happy to see that excitement for mountain biking in Arizona!

Anna took 1st in her division; Beginner age 40-49. Great job, Anna!

Brent and Mike took 5th in their divisions too! Their awards were given out earlier so no pics. Congrats to all on our team for racing hard. Awesome day!

We are back home in Arizona. I took down our Christmas tree & decorations so I believe the holidays are officially over for us. IA, AZ, CA... it was ALL wonderful!

1 week into 2018 and my "To Do" list keeps gets longer. Plus I've already broken some of my new year's resolutions. Hmmmm....now what? Tomorrow is a new day. I will rise & shine and be positive...like Penelope. :-)

Bob & I hiked Camelback Mountain on 1/1/18 with sister-in-law Nancy, sister Carol, & brother-in-law Paul. A happy day!
