Our home for the night...tomorrow we hike!

Bob & I drove from Aspen to Buena Vista today (1.5 hours over Independence Pass). We are camping at a KOA. We've never stayed at a KOA before & it's really nice...laundry, showers, a store & even ping pong! In the morning we'll meet some friends at the trailhead to hike Mt. Yale (our 1st 14er of this year).

Across from our campsite was this cool TeePee. KOA rents it out for $55 a night & it has a queen bed, bunk beds & electricity. Next time we are staying there!!

Walking around Aspen in the rain today. We had fun grabbing coffee, shopping & eating lunch downtown. Now we're relaxing back at our condo in Snowmass Village. Awwww. :-)

What Bob was doing today; watching float planes land at The Flying Beaver plane terminal in Vancouver. He had a 1 day layover in BC.

What I was doing today; eating my way across Arizona, Utah & Colorado. I had a good bit of junk food to keep me alert on my drive to Aspen. It worked & I arrived at 7:30pm. Tomorrow I'll pick up Bob from the Aspen airport & for the next 2 weeks we'll see friends, family & hike a few 14ers!

Finished 3 vintage windows with retro glass dishes.

Love how they turned out!! 18"x12"

Added some colored dishes to this one...1 green, 1 pink & a few white glass pebbles.

The 3rd & last one all finished. 18"x13". Yay!

PS: Here is the window I have hanging in our home. I made it last year & love how the light shines through it!
