Friends FUR-ever!
Hard to believe Harley turns 12 next month. She still has a lot of spunk & we feel so lucky to have her as our daily companion. She's a special friend!

Bob is in the middle of a 6 day work trip. Last night he had a layover in Miami (above). It's fun to see this pic now that I'm able to recognize the coastline & fondly think back on our 2 days there in January.
Bob also flew to New York City. Here's a good view of Arthur Ashe Stadium. More fond memories of a great time attending the US Open last September plus the rest of our crazy NYC touring.

"It's hard to get old!" my mom's words said regularly. At 88 years old my mom does pretty well. She is limited in ways that comes with being up in years (hard of hearing, no longer driving, aches & pains, issues with short term memory...) but some things for her have remained the same. She is a great story teller, witty & has a knack for history & genealogy. Her faith in God is steadfast as well as her love for her late husband (my dad) who she misses daily. Her thoughts never stray far from her family and has such unconditional love for her 8 children & their spouses, her 22 grandchildren & their spouses & her 35 great-grandchildren! She is a remarkable woman & it is hard to see her age. But I am thankful for the time we get to spend together while she visits us in AZ from Iowa!! Love my mom. :-)

MartinDaniel collecting material to pan in a dry creek bed not long after sunrise.
We are in deep now! James & Bob started the bathroom demolition yesterday. Not an easy job but also kinda fun to smash up the tile & walls! More "hammer time" today.

Bob preparing the Seattle seafood for dinner tonight.
It really was a yummy feast of oysters, mussels & crab!
Harley waiting for any table scraps that may fall to the floor. :-)
