Martin: Didn’t feel like eating lunch after what we ate while picking. 

Me: This is what I'm driving these days…a big truck! It's the rental the body shop gave us while our back bumper is being repaired.

Thankfully I have Harley to be my co-pilot while driving this rig around town. It's not easy parking this thing but it is fun to drive. :-)

Martin: Found this amongst the branches.

 Me: Abbie & Mike are expecting their 1st baby in June! In December I took some photos for them so they could make the announcement to their family in friends. Bob helped me & we had a lot of fun being creative. Here are the photos I liked the most with added words.

 This is the one they sent to their family before Christmas. "Do not open until June 2016" :-)

And my play on words! Did you know a stack of rocks like this is called a "cairn"? Pronounced Karen, a cairn is critical to a hiker when finding the trail. They are route markers to let you know you're heading in the right direction.

 Martin: Not a bad way to spend an hour.

Me: "Raindrops keep falling on my head!"

Raining all day today & forecast for rain tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday.

Wow- really wet week! (say that 5 times fast) ;-)

Martin: Cherry country outside the town of Orange. Lot of orchards in the vicinity that grow a variety of fruit and berries – practically everything but oranges. The town was originally known as Blackman’s Swamp but fortunately had its name changed to Orange as it grew in honour of Prince William of Orange.

Me: 2016…time to get down to business! I always like a new year. Even though January 1st is truly like any other day & there is nothing special about this month…it just feels fresh. And it makes me want to start new things, dream big, eat better, & set out to make some needed changes in my life. I won't succeed at everything I write down…but I'm gonna try!

Happy 2016!!

We made it to midnight to ring in the new year! I'll post pics tomorrow from the "Spinning Vinyl" party. It also explains our fashion style on New Year's Eve!
