Martin: Adrian went shopping in the city today and came back with a Dbacks cap autographed by Miguel Montero. Just in time for the exhibition game tonight between the Dbacks and Australia, as long as the rain stays away.

Me: This is an Ocotillo.

 It's one of my favorite cacti.

Me: Riley - now 6 months old.

Me: Bob and I had a nice surprise on the mountain when we ran into Dot. Dot is our friend, Kimo's mom and she lives in Hawaii. It was October last year when Dot and Kimo's dad hosted a wonderful Hawaiian wedding weekend for Kimo and Julie. Dot is in Phoenix for a week. Fun that we got to see her!

Me: Tennis Tuesday with Mike and Abbie. They are showcasing the items we ante up for the matches (marshmallows, pizza crust mix, nutter butter cookies & a can of soup). :-)

Our neighbor has several and they are growing tall above our backyard wall for us to enjoy too!

Martin: Not impressed with me taking a photo at this time. Two firsts for Adrian - his first car and washing a car for the first time without being coerced into doing so.

 Me: Sticks.

Not too exciting but it was still a pretty night for a walk with Harley.

Martin: Supporting the US economy. The local store had Californian mandarins for sale and they tasted sweet.

Me: Mike, Abbie, April and I hiked Picacho Peak this morning.

It's a 4 mile trek in Picacho State Park (1 hour drive south of Phoenix on the way to Tucson).

Several sections are equipped with cables that are necessary for climbing up & down the trail.

Nice temps and pretty views!

My nieces and nephew are awesome hiking buddies.
