 Me: This is that $2 cabinet I found at a garage sale a while back. I had plans to sand it, repaint it and then distress it. But when I wiped off all the dust I discovered that I liked it just like it was. It's already distressed, naturally. I put it under a mirror in the dining area and really like it.

Me: Bob sent me a photo he took at 43,000'. It's shows a huge mushroom smoke cloud from the Arizona Wallow wildfire. The Wallow Wildfire is burning in eastern Arizona and has already burned 233,000 acres.

Me: ONE HUNDRED MILES!

After a few days of feeling lousy, I felt good today. So, I stayed on my bike until I hit the 100 mile mark. 5 hours and 47 minutes of riding time (6 and 1/2 hours in the sun because of eating and water stops). I biked 60 miles with friends & then 40 miles alone (couldn't seem to talk anyone else into going over 60). When I arrived back to our house at noon I was very tired, very hungry and very sunburned!

Me: Bob is in San Francisco & had the pleasure of his parents, sister, brother-in-law and nieces visiting him. They all went out to eat & then back to the hotel room where Ro & Ree enjoyed jumping on the bed & pillow fights with Bob.

Martin: Adrian (he is in there somewhere) at the 300m mark of a 6km cross country run. Part of the course followed a race track.

Me: Anna & I riding into the sunset.

Martin: Trip to Warragamba dam, Sydney's main fresh water supply. Levels are still low but double what they were six months ago.

Me: At "The Farm" where we had a planting party. Us and a few friends started a small garden co-op a few months ago. None of us really know what we're doing. Maybe we'll learn.

Martin: Just about says it all. Been raining on and off since Sunday.

Me: I reeeaaaaally don't like snakes. This guy showed up in our yard late last night. Thankfully it wasn't a rattlesnake! We need our nieces, Ro & Ree to make a sign for us saying, "No Snakes Allowed!". And we should have shipped this guy off to the reptile experts in Australia, Adrian and Daniel.
