Me: These are the flowers I purchased from our local grocery store. I used them at Janna's shower on Saturday and then brought a vase full home with me. They are staying so beautiful. Aren't they fun colors!?

Me: A visit to the doctor for Bob's persisting infection in his elbow. Antibiotics should clear it up in a few days.

Me: My sisters, Janna's Aunt Rena, Janna's friend Yasmin and I hosted a bridal shower for Janna today. It was a lovely afternoon with delicious food, visiting, games, opening of gifts and yummy cake.

 Me: Happy Birthday to Harley!! She turned SIX years old today (same age as me in dog years). Harley had a good day: she went for a run in the desert to search out bunnies, napped in sun, rode in the car to the doggie bakery, had lots of treats, extra hugs, a birthday cupcake and a brand new bone to chew on. She's still gnawing on that thing now - she's in dog heaven.
