Martin: Lot of wind gusts this afternoon but at least it cleared the grey skies.

Me: Little potted flower that sits on our front patio wall. What kind is it?

Martin: Pine cone in the park.

Me: I bought an old kitchen table at the thrift store a couple weeks ago and now Bob and I are sanding it to make it look even older (distressed). It's a big project. We're about 1/2 way done with the sanding & then we'll stain it. If it turns out like I envision...I think it will be cool.

Me: Mmmmm. Fresh squeezed orange juice! Oranges, grapefruit and lemons are ripe & plentiful this time of year. Just picked a bag full from our friend's tree and put our juicer to the test. Come on over!

Martin: Lightning that Daniel caught in the act. It's a frame from a video he took. Wish the accompanying noise was in the shot. 

Me: Took the bike cruisers out for an afternoon ride through our neighborhood. Lovely, cloudy day with temps in the 70's.

Harley, with her tail wagging, had lots of kisses for Bob when we picked him up at the airport.

Martin: A friend we brought back from Fountain Hills who now lives on the wall next to our front door.

Me: Bob sent me this photo of the simulator he's been training in all week. Today was his check ride and he passed with flying colors! Yahoo, congratulations, honey! Now come home...we miss you. Love, Jane & Harley.
